Ford Field will be hosting the All Veterans Career Fair, a hiring event aimed at local veterans and their spouses on June 18th, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Get all the details and pre-register here.

DAV and the military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at Ford Field on Thursday, June 18, 2015. DAV and RecruitMilitary are inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, personnel who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members. The event will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

RecruitMilitary expects 35 employers, franchisors, educational institutions, and government agencies to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. Those already signed up are DAV; Johnson Controls, Inc.; Norfolk Southern Corporation; The Home Depot; FedEx Ground; First Command Financial Planning; HSS, Inc.; Coverall North America, Inc.; Malace Associates, Inc.; RGIS; Saia LTL Freight; Combined Insurance; Quicken Loans; Toledo Police Department; Baker College; Penske Truck Leasing; AIG Financial Network; Burlington Northern Santa Fe; Belfor; Kroger; Farmers Insurance; DeVry University; Veteran Franchise Center; Heavy Construction Academy; Prudential Financial; St. John Providence; New Horizons Computer Learning Centers; Georgia College of Construction; and The Art Institutes.

DAV personnel will be on hand to answer veterans’ questions about benefits and to provide them with other valuable information.

DAV was founded by World War I veterans in Cincinnati in 1920 and chartered by the United States Congress in 1932. The organization empowers veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. It is dedicated to a single purpose: fulfilling our promises to the men and women who served. DAV does this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life.
