Tonight (November 11), Hunter Hayes joins an all-star lineup of country artists including Dierks Bentley, Kip Moore, the Band Perry and Little Big Town, who are paying tribute to our troops via CBS Radio’s first ever Stars and Strings concert at the Chicago Theatre. He tells why he’s proud to take the stage tonight.

“Any chance we get to be a part of something that honors our men and women who serve this country, we are all so grateful for and it means a lot to us. We should all always look for more ways to say ‘Thank you’ to our military!”

He also notes that it isn’t important just to support our soldiers, but also their families, who deserve our support as well. “It’s incredible to hear stories and meet families who have sacrificed so much to support their loved ones who serve. They are a shining example of a strong, positive spirit and they are absolute heroes to all of us!”

“I have had the privilege to meet quite a few absolutely incredible service men and women,” he notes. “Just recently, I had the chance to hang out with the USO Soldier of the Year and hear some of his story. Anytime I’m around a military family I’m just inspired and deeply moved by the incredible hearts that they have.”
