Luke Bryan didn’t waste any of that extra day he got this leap year!
He got together with Chevy to help campaign for #DayItForward.
#DayItForward encouraged people to use those bonus hours to do something nice for someone.
Luke chose to spend his time with firefighters in Franklin, Tenn.
“We pick people that work hard to look after us and we’re going to do something nice for them. I’ve got lunch, and I’m taking it to Fire Station No. 2 right here in Franklin, Tennessee,” said Luke in the video.
Bryan also brought a ton of food with him to Franklin. After eating he stayed to hang out, eat and sign autographs!
One of the guys in the station recently helped save someone’s life, and Bryan made sure to give him a lot of the spotlight. Even though the fireman was clearly nervous. The country fan shared hunting in common with Luke. Spending a lot of time swapping stories with him, “some memories to go a lifetime with.”, said Luke.
The station even let Bryan test out one of their suits. However, he needed to take a lot of flack for not knowing which pieces go where. Though he needed help getting the uniform on, he pulled the look off; his female fans may hope he kept it.
Luke’s most recent album “Kill The Lights” recently went platinum. Be sure to check him out this fall at Ford Field, October 29th on his “Kill The Lights” Tour!
