Tomorrow’s hangover is brought to you by the 13 million pints of Guinness that are expected to be consumed today for St. Patrick’s Day. Here are a few hangover cures from Dan + Shay, Gary Allan and Blake Shelton to get you through the holiday. Good luck, everyone!
Dan + Shay swear by Pedialyte. Dan + Shay say A Thousand Horses introduced them to Pedialyte as a hangover cure. Dan Smyers: “That was a tip gifted to us by A Thousand Horses actually. We were doing a show with them and they were like, ‘Dude, you guys don’t use Pedialyte?’ We’re like, ‘Naw, man! We don’t use Pedialyte.’ They gave us some and we haven’t stopped.”
Shay Mooney: “I don’t know who it started with but they said that someone told them that but somebody went into a store and got Pedialyte at one point and was like, ‘I know this is a child’s drink but I’m going to try this and they drank it and it’s been passed down. We swear by it now.”
Gary Allan‘s hangover cure sounds like it hurts. Gary says a long run is his hangover cure. “You gotta drag it up in the morning and run it off. I know that my hangover cure is a long run. So yeah, we all go to the gym together, we all go to a golf course or something like that. I don’t really do yoga on the road. I have a tough time with sweating that much and then going in and sweating again at a show. So I do that when I’m home.”
Blake Shelton gets over the Irish holiday with Mexican. Blake says Taco Bell is his ultimate hangover cure. “Taco Bell is the place to go to avoid hangovers because if you can just fill up on I like those Mexican Pizzas and the new Crunch Wrap with the extra hot sauce on it. And get sick that night by eating that way because by the next morning, I mean, you’ve already been sick. It’s over and you wake up and you’re ready to go again.”
