On a recent stop during their Dig Your Roots tour, the boys of Florida Georgia Line admitted they’re huge Backstreet Boys fans.

The boy band holds a special place in Brian Kelley‘s heart because they headlined the first concert he ever attended. Tyler Hubbard also has his reasons for supporting “Team Backstreet.”

Tyler: “I didn’t even remember this until BK had mentioned how the Backstreet Boys was his first concert, but that was actually the very first record I ever bought, Backstreet Boys.”

Brian: “So you’re telling me that you probably, you definitely know a couple songs, right?”

Tyler: “Sometimes I think we are the Backstreet Boys.”

Hopefully Tyler and Brian pull out more surprises when  they continue their Dig Your Roots tour at DTE Energy Music Theater on June 17th, featuring opening acts Cole Swindell, The Cadillac Three and Kane Brown.
