Keith Urban kicks off his “Ripcord World Tour” in Kansas City, Missouri tomorrow, and while fans can expect to hear a lot of Keith’s classic tunes, they may sound a little different this time around.

Keith says he plans to bring some old songs out of retirement, while keeping the ones fans want to hear, although he has tried to give them a “fresh coat of paint without changing them so much.”

He adds that he hates it when it’s obvious an artist feels obligated to perform an old hit, but changes it up in such a way that fans don’t recognize it. Keith notes that he tries to be “respectful of people wanting to be able to sing along.”

Keith with Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris will be at DTE Energy Music Theater on June 23rd!
