Kip Moore has revealed that he struggled with depression while recording his latest album, “Wild Ones.” In case you missed it, Kip tells ET Canada that while the album was “special” to him, it wasn’t the easiest thing for him to get through.

“I literally had a hard fight,” he shares. “It was a tough time in my life. There were a lot of days where it was hard for me to get out of bed.”

Kip says he’s already at work on a new album, that may sound different that what fans are used to hearing. He notes, “I wanted to be true to myself and grow and evolve as an artist and push boundaries on this new one.”

Kip also addressed the recent hubbub over him taking a fan’s phone after she was caught texting at his concert. Kip says the whole thing was overblown, and insists he did it just to “have fun with them.”
