As we previously told you, Kenny Chesney delayed the release of his new album in order to include a duet with Pink, and as it turns out, we’re days away from finally hearing what was so special about the song.

Kenny will release he collaboration, “Setting The World On Fire,” on Thursday, which will be the second single from Kenny’s upcoming album, “Cosmic Hallelujah,” which drops October 28th.

“You can’t conjure a song that captures that feeling of being on the brink like this does,” Kenny says. “The lyrics are a perfect way of saying it, but when you feel that melody rise, the arrangement picking up momentum – it’s bigger than you are, and all you want to do is throw yourself against the night.” He adds, “Then when Pink comes in, well, that just brings this (song) to life.”

This is the latest in country artists performing duets with pop artists. Dierks Bentley has a new duet with Elle King and WYCD Hoedown artist Brad Paisley has a hit duet with Demi Lovato.
