There’s some good news and bad news for fans of “Nashville.” The good news is that CMT, which rescued the drama after ABC canceled it, has announced that the show’s fifth season is set to debut January 5th.

As for the bad news, it seems we may have to get used to the show without its main country diva Rayna James.

According to “Entertainment Weekly,” star Connie Britton will only appear in 10 of the 22-episode new season, and isn’t expected to return should the show get picked up for a sixth season. Sources say the drama is hoping Connie will sign on for more, but so far there’s no deal in place. The show’s other star Hayden Panettiere is reportedly signed on for the entire season.
