When JoJo Fletcher picked Jordan Rodgers on the season finale of “The Bachelorette,” fans immediately started questioning who the next Bachelor would be. Luke? Chase? Robby? Wells? None of the above. The official star of the next season of “The Bachelor” is Nick Viall.

The news was announced on last night’s “Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise” by former “Bachelor” stars Sean Lowe and Ben Higgins, who are both still with the ladies they proposed to at the end of their respective seasons.

This marks the fourth time Viall has turned to Bachelor Nation to look for love. Twice on “The Bachelorette” and once on this past season of “Bachelor in Paradise.” “I certainly have the practice,” Nick joked. “I don’t know if anything really prepares you for it. … I’ve had an interesting journey throughout this process – it hasn’t worked out so far, and hopefully this time around maybe things will end up on a more positive note.”

Nick will give it another go when “The Bachelor” returns in January 2017.
