Blake Shelton returned to the road this weekend and started things off in a pretty big way. The singer performed two concerts in his home state of Oklahoma, and decided to donate proceeds from both shows, in the amount of $600,000, to the Jimmy Everest Center in Oklahoma City, which treats children with cancer.

Blake’s cousin was treated at the center last year after being diagnosed with cancer. Blake brought the young girl on stage and told the crowd, “This time last year, we had a scare. And, we didn’t know what was going to happen,” adding. “And, you can see that she’s here right now.”

“Thank you, Blake Shelton! The children at the Jimmy Everest Center love you, and WE LOVE YOU!,” reads a post on the center’s Facebook page. “What an amazing gift to help ensure that our children with cancer get the care they need right here in Oklahoma.”
