Dolly Parton is set to receive the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at next month’s 50th Annual CMA Awards. In case you missed it, the announcement was made during Dolly’s first-ever appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” where she joked about her long relationship with singer.

“Dolly epitomizes the very definition of the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award,” Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer, shares. “She is a trailblazer who continues to enchant and captivate fans around the world…She is a treasure and deserving of this industry acclaim for her undeniable contributions to the success of country music, today.”

Previous winners of the award include Willie Nelson (2012), Kenny Rogers (2013), and Johnny Cash (2015).

The 50th Annual CMA Awards air November 2nd at 8 pm ET on ABC.
