It’s not too often a cop gets a thank you note from someone they pull over. That’s what happened to one New Jersey officer.

He pulled Dave Coskey over on the Garden State Parkway for speeding. Days later, Coskey send a letter thanking the cop for his good attitude, explaining the unnamed officer could have just given him the ticket and drove off. Instead, the office explained there’s been some deadly accidents recently on that section of the parkway so officers are trying to save lives, not just hand out tickets.

Plus, before driving off, the cop escorted Coskey off the shoulder of the road and back onto the roadway.
