Faith Hill is mourning the loss of her mother, Edna Perry, who died on Sunday (October 30th) at the age of 80 in a Jackson, Mississippi hospital. Visitation took place on Monday (October 31st), while the funeral was private.

Perry has been married to Faith’s father, Wesley “Ted” Perry, for 59 years. The couple adopted Faith as an infant and raised her, along with her two older brothers, in Star, Mississippi.

According to Perry’s obituary, memorials may be made to Star Baptist Church Children’s Wing Renovation, PO Box 69, Star, MS 39167.

Faith is expected to be attend tonight’s (Wednesday, November 2nd) CMA Awards in Nashville. The show will air live on ABC beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
