Luke Combs hasn’t had what he likes to call a “real job” in a couple years, but he’ll never forget what he was doing before he was able to make a living in music.

Luke Combs talks about his jobs before music.  “So, I was living in an apartment above a bar. I went downstairs and just said, ‘Hey man, I need a job.’ But no, he gave me a job as a bouncer there, and I was working at an Izod retail store, which was brutal. I would rather beat people up every night than have to try to sell somebody a pair socks they didn’t want.”

Luke hits the road with Brantley Gilbert next month to open on the second leg of The Devil Don’t Sleep tour. He will be at DTE Energy Music Theater on August 13th!
