By Jason the 200 lb. Cowboy

Country fans can expect to get to see a different side of Jason Aldean. In his new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum – “Jason Aldean: Asphalt Cowboy” – visitors will get a sense of how he became a star.

Jason says, “To think this all started by me playing guitar in my bedroom just because I wanted to learn to play guitar with my dad and my uncle … it’s sort of turned into this amazing career that is now on display here,” adding, “I don’t know, it kind of blows me away.”

Reflecting on his high school days, Jason says, “I hope they get a chance to go back and see the full story, from my teenage days and high-school days when sports was really my main thing and the sort of transition to becoming a musician and playing in bands.”

With his new exhibit, Jason now joins country legends like Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr., and Alan Jackson who have also had displays featured. Jason’s exhibit opened on Friday.
