Rob and Holly

3 p.m.-7 p.m.

Rob and Holly play your country hits in the afternoon.

Rob Stone of “The Rob + Holly Show” is the afternoon drive host along with Holly Hutton on Detroit's #1 for Country, 99.5 WYCD. You can also watch him on CW50 as he is the host of "Street Beat," a community affairs program focused on the positive events happening in Detroit. He also spends time outside of his day job auditioning for acting positions in film, commercials and modeling. He's been seen in commercials for health care, automotive and other popular events in Michigan, such as the North American International Auto Show.

He is a huge music fan who loves playing guitar, singing karaoke and is heavily involved in the music community from Detroit to Nashville. Rob holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media from Michigan State University. He is Michigan proud and loves staying close to family and friends. Being born in Detroit, raised in Almont/Romeo and schooled in East Lansing, Rob knows the importance of live and local.

One of the most rewarding parts of working in media for Rob is being able to give back. Being in radio and TV has introduced him to several causes that have become close to his heart, including; St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The American Diabetes Association, The American Red Cross and countless others. He is so appreciative and grateful to be working a dream job and is always humbled to give back in any way he can.

Rob resides in a Metro-Detroit suburb called St. Clair Shores with his wife Katie. They have known each other since elementary school and are loving their new rescue dog, Layla, who was adopted from a local rescue that was featured on Rob + Holly’s “Dog Gone Pet of the Week”!

In addition to being on-air, Holly also holds the position of WYCD music director. She has been the TV host of the local music show “Detroit’s Underground,” which featured up and coming artists in metro Detroit, and has been featured in Detroit area tv and radio ad campaigns.

Holly attended Wayne State University in Detroit and Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti before being bitten by the radio bug. Her radio career has kept her right in the city that she was born in and loves – Detroit! Growing up, Holly began riding horses and has kept that passion into her adulthood. She still rides regularly on her own horse and finds time to help horses in need.  Holly is on the board for the Sand Stone Farm Rescue; which is a 501c that focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating and renewing the life in many horses who were in the slaughter pipeline. She also takes in horses in need.

In addition to rescuing horses, Holly is involved with several causes including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The American Red Cross, BRAvo For Women program assisting those fighting breast cancer, Michigan Animal Rescue League, Michigan Humane Society and the Basset Hound Rescue of Georgia.

Holly and her husband, a Detroit police sergeant, share 2-year-old son Johnny. The family loves their 17-acre hobby farm in St.Clair County that includes rescue dogs, cats, chickens and horses.
